For The Latest News On All Of Our Projects A Masterpiece in Progress: On the southern edge of the Minervois region of southern France, where the rugged heights descend to the vineyard-rich plains, nestles the hillside town of Montouliers. Far from the hurly-burly of big cities and tourists’ haunts, it’s a living reminder that rural France is still a land of tradition, repose and respect for the finer things of life. A Remarkable Transformation. In this very special place, we’re hard at work on our newest addition to our Dream Homes Abroad. “Quatre Murs” means “Four Walls.” Within the four walls of this venerable village house, we’re creating a totally new and exciting home for lucky Quatre Murs LLC owners. We started with a two-story house with an attached barn. We’re completely remodeling the existing house and expanding it into the barn area. When it’s finished, the street side will still be the old stone wall, offering no hint as to what’s inside. But with the remaining three stone walls it will enclose a fabulous multilevel garden, with wonderful views of the vineyards and hills to the east. On an upper-level terrace there’ll be a swimming pool and more gardens, with steps cascading down each side of the pool to lead to the stone arched entry into the lower garden. Comfort, Privacy and Luxury. When completed, Quatre Murs will offer exceptional accommodations: a country kitchen with new appliances; a living-dining area extending the full length of the house; two master bedroom-and-bathroom suites above the living and dining area—both overlooking the gardens and with expansive views of the surrounding countryside. On the lower garden level will be separate, additional guest quarters with their private terrace. Availability. At the moment, Quatre Murs LLC is fully committed.
